Charlie's Bar

About

Charlie's Bar, situated in the heart of the island town of Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, is one of the town's most established traditional bars. The bar is named after Charlie Burns, the proprietor's father.

The bar has been in the Burns family since 1944, when Charlie plied his trade serving farmers, locals and American troops stationed nearby at Castle Archdale. When Charlie retired, his son Gerry took over the running of the business, which has since undergone a major refurbishment. More recently, Gerry's daughter, Una, has taken on the management of the business.

The bar has a warm, traditional atmosphere, with an open fire, off sales and late bar opening hours every night. Live sports and racing are covered across their 12 plasma screens, and live music can be enjoyed most weekends. A pool table and dart board are available in our new sports room, so there is plenty to keep you occupied.

As with all traditional Irish pubs, the staff and locals welcome strangers and visitors as lost friends, and all are encouraged to enjoy a pint or three!
