2013 World Police & Fire Games

Volunteering for Team 2013

Volunteering will be at the heart of the Games with Team 2013 volunteers representing the Spirit of the Games! If you have been inspired to volunteer then welcome to the start of an exciting journey.

Benefits of volunteering for Team 2013
The Games offer an excellent opportunity for people to make a difference through volunteering in order to help deliver the friendliest Games ever.

Team 2013 will be made up of over 3,500 individuals. By applying to volunteer, you could potentially meet the thousands of competitors, visitors, spectators, media and VIPs at the Games. You will help make it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved and this is your chance to welcome the world, represent your community and have fun!

Find out more....
Throughout September and October the 2013 staff team will be delivering "VolunTour" - a series of roadshow information points which will travel across Northern Ireland to engage with the community at a grassroots level and highlight the many opportunities available at the Games. It will include visits to shopping centres, libraries, college fresher fairs, a range of high profile public events, business and sporting conferences.

We are hosting an information session for organisation representatives on the Thursday 20th September, either 10am or 2pm at Volunteer Now (34 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast, BT2 7DB) which you may wish to attend.

We also have postcards (and posters to come) which promote the opportunity. To attend or get postcards please email and confirm which time you wish to attend and / or how many postcards you need and we will accommodate accordingly.
