Traditional family home providing comfortable accommodation situated on the verge of the entrance to Glenarm forest. This house is ideal for both weekend breaks and longer stays to explore the area. Glenarm is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Antrim Coast Road which includes such attractions as the Giant's Causeway, Glenariffe Forest Park and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. The property has a garden with furniture to enjoy when the weather is good, and an open fire to enjoy during the winter months. The living room has comfortable sofas and chairs and is a relaxing place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to prepare meals, and the bedrooms are comfortably furnished, with spare bedding and towels available. The entrance to Glenarm forest is a few paces away from the house and offers some beautiful walks - some of them by the river with a view of Glenarm Castle. The castle has gardens and tea rooms open from May to September. Glenarm also has a small marina and a pebble beach. The village is small, but does have a convenience shop, a few pubs, a jewellery work-shop and a coffee shop. In the next village (2 miles away), there are some more shops, a butcher, post office and a cash machine. Larger supermarkets, butchers, bakers etc can be found in Larne (12 miles away) and Ballymena (18 miles away). Belfast is approximately 30 miles away and offers a wide variety of attractions - shopping, museums, nightlife etc.
