7 The Woodlands Gardens

The garden is on a slope, terraced with two patios, garden house, ponds, water feature and sitting areas. Informal style with all types of plants including perennials, shrubs, fruit trees (apple and Cherry), soft fruits, climbers, A Small gem. Modern informal garden with different areas (rooms). Scree Garden, varied hard landscaping.

This garden has limited opening as part of the National Trust Ulster Gardens Scheme, please phone for an appointment before visiting. You can view details of the Ulster Garden Scheme at www.ulstergardensscheme.org.uk.

Not suitable for wheelchairs.

Spring highlights: Snowdrops, daffodils, primulas, treepeoony

Summer highlights: wide variety of herbaceous plants and flowering shrubs, Roses, Abutilon.

Autumn highlights: Clematis, Asters

Winter highlights: Chenomeles, Verbena Bodnantense

Unique/rare flora: Pseudopanax, Echium pinninana, Fremontodendron.
