Artisan Producers

Artisan producers

Specialist farmers and artisan producers are plentiful in Northern Ireland and these highly skilled people have an evident passion for food. Recently there has been a revival of speciality meat producers. Finnebrogue Venison, Downpatrick has put Northern Ireland on the map in London’s top restaurants with its young and delicate grass-fed venison. Kettyles of Fermanagh is also working hard to produce extra mature, dry aged beef with its grass-fed, native herd and Gold Taste award-winner Moyallon Foods is the first choice amongst local chefs when it comes to dry cure bacon, deli sausages, and prime beef burgers.
