Audience members needed for exciting new Ulster-Scots TV show on BBC2 NI

23 June 2014

Tern Television are currently producing a monthly Ulster-Scots themed magazine programme for BBC Two Northern Ireland – The Gaitherin – and are now lining up their second programme.

They are looking for audience members for the recording which will take place on Monday 7th July between 6:30pm and 9:00pm at Glenarm Castle on the Antrim Coast. Tickets for the audience are free but must be arranged and booked as soon as possible as we’re expecting interest from a significant number of people. You can secure a ticket by contacting Tim on 02890 897508 or on this email address, tim.benson@terntv.com.

Helen Mark will introduce an evening packed full of entertainment with music from ‘The Willie Drennan Ulster-Scots Band’.  A range of guests will join Helen for what promises to be a celebration of Ulster-Scots music, arts and culture.

The show will be filmed ‘as live’, to be broadcast on 10th July at 10pm on BBC Two.  Attendees will be encouraged to take part in the celebration as
much as possible.
