Nestled in the foothills of the Sperrins in county Tyrone, Ballinasollus Cottage has majestic views across the Glenelly valley. The cottage, originally built in 1871 in local red sandstone has now been fully restored to 4 star standard, retaining all original features yet modernised to a 21st century standard making your stay more comfortable. The cottage has 2 double bedrooms and can accommodate 4 adults and has cot and sofa bed for children. Ballynasollus cottage is set in 130 acres of wood, grassland and moor. All parts of the northern half of Ireland are accessible within 2 and a half hours.

Location / Directions

D1 From Plumbridge.
Drive 2.5 miles out Ligford road towards Strabane. Turn sharp left onto Ballynasollus Road. Follow the Brown tourist sign saying "Ballynasollus cottage 3/4.". After 150 Metres turn right onto small road and follow second brown sign for Ballynasollus Cottage. Go past yellow bungalow and old farmstead. Follow Road over stone bridge up to main house and adjacent cottage.

Drive 7.75 miles out Plumbridge road. Turn right onto Ballynasollus Road. Follow the Brown sign saying "Ballynasollus Cottage 3/4." After 150 Metres turn right onto small road. Follow 2nd brown sign for Ballynasollus Cottage. Go past yellow bungalow and old farmstead. Follow road over stone bridge up to main house and adjacent cottage.
