Ballycastle Food Tour

29 October
A quick introduction to Ballycastle and the surrounding Causeway Coast and Glens with reference to the sea and arable lands.

After a breakfast bite we will meander past Medieval Port Brittas, via the Georgian Marine Corner and up the Victorian Quay Road noting the industries that used to be here. We will continue up Ann Street and learn about the linen industry and the railway that helped our local industries thrive.

After a taster of sea food chowder which showcases locally caught fish we will stroll up Market Street noting more evidence of over a thousand years of history in one small but very significant town.
We will have a sweet bite and stop off at the Museum for a moment before heading down to the Diamond where we will discuss Ballycastle and the lack of Castle.

Please note booking essential, 10 places per tour.
