Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre

Newtownabbey Borough Council has recently installed a Zest Fitness suite at Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre.

The new equipment is supplied by Technogym includes a range of resistance and cardiovascular machines that are both elegant and sophisticated. The suite is home to four treadmills, two X-trainers, four cycles and two steppers along with a reintroduction of some free weights and three Concept II rowing machines.

Ballyearl has 27 floodlight bays for golf with two sizes of buckets available to purchase 70 or 105 balls. The centre has clubs available for hire and a limited number of children’s clubs. As well as the covered bays we have a number of outdoor grass bays open during the summer months.

The Centre boasts an excellent nine hole par three course. A Challenge to beginners and seasoned golfers alike.

Ballyearl has two championship glass backed courts and two standard courts. We are home to Ballyearl Squash Club.

Courtyard Theatre is a fantastic 180 seat theatre hosting a range of shows from rock n roll, drama, comedy, musicals, jazz and classical.
