In the second day of Love Parks Week, we want all dog owners to “Give their park some love” so Crawfordsburn celebrates all things dog with the Bark in the Park event in aid of vet charity PDSA. Andy Baird from City Beat radio will be there to start the sponsored dog walk, plus you can enter your pooch in the fun dog show or the Scruffts Regional Heats for crossbreeds.
Be inspired and entertained by man's best friend as you watch the displays of Down dog agility and fly-ball group, PSNI Attack dogs, Husky dry-land mushing and cani-cross, to name a few. Many dog breeds, groups, food distributers and charities are represented at the event so come along and discuss dogs with the experts. PDSA Senior Vet Sean Wensley will be offering free dog health MOTs as well as answering questions about caring for other pets between 12-4, plus local animal chiropractor Helen Worthington will be offering free spinal checks for dogs. You can also find out more about our Good Citizen classes and the dog policy at Crawfordsburn. Just say the word... Walkies (on leads please)!
PDSA treats the sick and injured pets of people in need, and runs two pet hospitals on Antrim Road and Shore Road in Belfast. For more information visit www.pdsa.org.uk
