Beech Hill Country House Hotel

Beech Hill Country House Hotel, gloriously set in 32-acres of woodland, lakes and tranquil well-tended gardens, is famed for its warm welcomes and fine food. Proprietor Patsy O’Kane maintains high level hospitality. The creative chefs in her kitchen offer imaginative dishes which delight local regulars as well as high profile visitors such as President Bill Clinton and his wife Hilary. All meals are prepared from locally sourced ingredients, organic vegetables and sustainable fish caught nearby.

Golfing, horse-riding, hill-walking and other activities can be arranged as can guided tours of the centre of Derry.

Beech Hill was a base for the US Marines in World War 2. A memorial to the Marine Corps stands in the garden and every year Marines come from America and Europe to keep alive their links with the hotel and the city.
