Belcoo and District Historical Society

The heritage centre displays local artefacts and provides information from the Public Records Office from various eras. Montages of architectural and archaeological sites and local record sheets adorn the walls and visitors can view videos of the area's culture. The heritage suite reveals the re-use of the Earth's ‘waste’ for crafts; rushes, reeds, sally rods, bog oak, tin, whins and straw are all used as raw materials in wood-turning, lace-making, patchwork, rug making etc. Kitchen facilities and a chefare available for demonstrations of locally produced ingredients. Inaccessible sites and artefacts of local historical significance such as the Pump
House and the amber bedas found in Killycreen Bog, now housed in Fermanagh County Museum.
