Belfast Christmas Light Switch On

Join the Lord Mayor, Alderman Brian Kingston, and special guests as we mark the start of the festive season with Belfast's annual Christmas Light Switch On.

It will take place on Saturday 19 November, from 6.30pm to 7.15pm at the front of Belfast City Hall. It's a great way for families to begin the festive season.Tickets

This is a free, ticketed event. Tickets will be available in person from the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre (opposite Belfast City Hall) and on Thursday 3 November at 9.30am. Tickets are restricted to four per person. If you have any specific access or viewing requirements, please advise at time of booking.

Tickets booked online must be collected in person from the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre before 5pm on Thursday 17 November. Please bring your ticket confirmation email with you.
Belfast Christmas Market

The award-winning Belfast Christmas Market will also be making a return to the city. It'll open its doors at 12 noon on Saturday 19 November and will stay until Thursday 22 December, with a unique offering of local and continental tasty food, sweet treats, wonderful gifts and crafts.

Don't forget to post your Christmas wishes to the North Pole via the postbox beside Santa's grotto inside the market. Each child who posts their letter will receive an individual response from Santa himself.
