Belleek is a picturesque village situated on the banks of Lough Erne in County Fermanagh. The famous Belleek Pottery is here, renowned throughout the world for being home to some of the world's finest parian china. The old Victorian canal linking the Shannon to the Erne system re-opened in 1994 and there is now a continuous waterway all the way from Limerick in the Republic of Ireland to Belleek, at the west end of Lough Erne. Lying on the River Erne, Belleek is the most westerly village in Northern Ireland and is bordered by County Donegal in the Irish Republic. A quiet, historic village, it has some lovely waterside chalets and you can also catch some traditional music makers in the village. Belleek also gets many visitors who come to Fermanagh for fishing.
