• Win 2 tickets to see Example & Special Guests!Sunday 17 August: Biffy Clyro + Twin Atlantic & Little Matador The story of Biffy Clyro is as romantic as it is archetypal. Three childhood friends from Ayrshire formed a band, delivered three albums of abrasive youthful exuberance and finally cracked the big time when their fourth - 2007's Puzzle - hit the charts at #2. By the time the promotion of their fifth album Only Revolutions had ceased, they were bona fide stars who could deliver hit singles in an era in which rock bands rarely trouble the charts
Monday 18 August: Kodaline + Tom Odell, Black Rivers & Daniel JamesDublin quartet Kodaline have enjoyed a remarkably fast rise to fame, culminating with a sold out show at Dublin's O2 Arena last month. Debut LP 'In A Perfect World' features 'High Hopes' and 'Love Like This' two of the biggest singles released by an Irish act in recent years and as a result, they're set for a massive summer of high profile festival appearances including a headline slot at Belsonic 2014!
Kodaline are joined by BRIT award winning singer songwriter Tom Odell, whose debut LP "Long Way Down" shot straight to number one in the UK charts on its release in June 2013. The bill will be opened by Black Rivers.
Tuesday 19 August: Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers & GuestsCHIC Feat. Nile Rodgers return to Belfast this August to headline Belsonic at Custom House Square to perform their only Northern Irish show this year! The disco godfathers, fronted by songwriting genius Nile Rodgers, have experienced phenomenal success over the last 18 months. Recent collaborations with Daft Punk ("Get Lucky" / "Lose Yourself To Dance") join a veritable "greatest hits" in their live repertoire, which includes "Good Times", "Everybody Dance", "We Are Family", "Lets Dance", "Like A Virgin" and many others.
Wednesday 20 August: Queens of the Stone Age & Brody Dalle & The MinutesOne of the most critically acclaimed rock acts of all time, Queens of the Stone Age enjoyed arguably their most successful year to date with the release of seventh studio LP '....Like Clockwork' and an arena tour of the UK and Europe. The new album, which features collaborations with a diverse selection of artists ranging from Dave Grohl & Alex Turner to Trent Reznor & Elton John is widely considered the bands best since the game changing "Songs For The Deaf". Released in 2002, that album is regarded a classic and featured hit singles "Go With The Flow" and the hugely familiar anthem "No One Knows". As well as their appearance at Belsonic this summer, the band are set to headline Reading & Leeds for the first time.
Friday 22 August: Imagine Dragons & GuestsLas Vegas based quartet Imagine Dragons were undoubtedly one of 2013's biggest commercial breakthrough artists. The band's Grammy nominated debut LP "Night Visions" is certified gold in the UK, thanks partly to "Radioactive", one of the biggest selling UK singles of last year. The band have just completed a headline arena tour of the U.S., and will be back in the UK in August to perform at both the iconic Reading & Leeds festivals, as well as Belsonic at Custom House Square.
