Bittles Bar

At Victoria Square - there is a curious triangular building, decorated with gilded shamrocks and dated 1861 houses the compact and fascinating pub known locally as simply Bittles.

Formerly known as The Shakespeare, owner John Bittles has continued the glittery theme, and the tri-cornered lounge is decorated with portraits and pictures of Ireland's most celebrated literary figures, from Wilde to Yeats, Joyce and Beckett.

On offer you will find Belfast's largest selection of draught, bottled beers and ciders and our famous whiskey selection. Also running during the summer the Samuel Beckett Centenary Art Exhibition. Special offer: Complimentary Baileys in a chocolate cup with each lunch purchased.

Opening Closing: Food served 11.30 am - 2 pm Monday - Friday.
