Boleyhill Farm is situated at the top of a private lane between Strangford Lough and the Irish Sea. The three cottages retain their original character and charm and have been renovated to the highest standard. The cottages are surrounded by 30 acres of farmland. The picturesque loughside village of Greyabbey is a pleasant walk of approximately a mile and has good basic local shopping and a Post Office. Greyabbey is well known for its’ many antique and craft shops and the ruins of the 12th century Cistercian Abbey with attached Physic Garden. The National Trust property of Mount Stewart with its world renowned gardens is approximately three miles from the farm. The Boleyhill Farm Cottages are all provided with towels and bedding. A high chair and cot with bedding are also available. All units are centrally heated and have open fires for which wood and turf are provided. Each cottage has a television, radio/CD player and a DVD player. The interiors have been finished to an exceptionally high standard by Bailie-Irwin Interior Designers. The patio areas for each cottage are supplied with furniture and each unit has a barbecue. The gardens, orchard and farmland surrounding the property are mostly available for use by visitors. While all cottages are self-catering, a complimentary starter pack of basic groceries is provided on arrival. The cottages are all non-smoking. The Milking Parlour (sleeps 5) This cottage has two bedrooms – one with twin beds and one with a double and a single. Both bedrooms have ensuite facilities – one with bath and shower and one with bath only. The spacious living/dining room opens onto a conservatory and private patio area. There is an extremely well fitted kitchen which includes a washer/drier, dishwasher, cooker, microwave etc. There is wireless internet access at the farm.
