"Far from the madding crowd" set in the quiet village of Killinchy a mile from beautiful Strangford Lough, and 12 miles from Belfast if you like the hustle and bustle!! On my doorstep is the Michelin Star restaurant of Balloo House (20min walk or 5 min drive), and a short drive to Daft Eddy's restaurant on Sketrick Island for more great food, a quiet drink or just a stroll around the Island and afternoon tea in the new Cafe. There is also the Old Post Office Tea Rooms and Gallery at Lisbane.

Recreation in the area includes Walking, Golf, Horse riding, Bird watching (Castle Espie) also sailing and canoeing on the Lough.

From Belfast/Comber go through Lisbane to Balloo/Killinchy Turn Left at Beechvale Road then take the 2nd Right on to Main Street.
