We warmly welcome you to our gallery space and store in Dromore, Co Down to experience our culturally rich products that we have on offer. We have a variety of local artists such as Argentinian born Martin Devek’s collection of evocative jazz musicians, which plunge the viewer into a heady, decadent atmosphere. Winston Weir’s collection of nudes which calls for the viewer to observe each picture closely to unravel the mystery of its subject.

There is also an array of local photographers such as Drew McWilliams, who has documented historical Dromore’s well known sights such as the Norman motte and bailey that was constructed by John de Courcy in the early 13th century. Paul McFarland’s images of the beautiful Dromore cathedral, originally constructed in 1661.

Our collection not only refers to the medieval history of Dromore but it is forward looking as well. Locally born Adam Wilson’s contemporary journey across the USA with an Irish perspective juxtaposes nature’s construction of the ‘Devil’s Tower’ in Wyoming with the breath taking human engineering feat of San Francisco’s ‘Golden Gate’ bridge. Brian Douglas has a collection of iconic Belfast scenes such as Harland and Wolff’s cranes and the Big fish, as well as more naturalistic subjects such as the majestic Mourne mountains, seascapes and studies of flowers.

Finally we have an up and coming photography student David Copeland whose architectural style is highlighted in a striking image of the National gallery in London’s Trafalgar square. His image has stirred a lot of excitement during its launch recently. Our showcase conveys the depth of local talent and creativity in County Down and we hope to spread that message through the province. We also invite visitors to have their own images created on our unique medium Canvastone, exclusively instore. Using liquid stone technology and reclaimed timber frames these images can be transformed into a bespoke artwork ready to be mounted on the wall.
