The beautiful Castlerock beach, Mussenden, Downhill Demesne and Hezlett House are all within walking distance. Local Tourist attractions such as The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, Bushmills Distillery and Dunluce Castle are a short drive away, as is The Foyle Ferry at Magilligan, which gives easy access to Co Donegal.

There is a limited range of shops and pubs in the village but a wider range of shops and entertainment is available in nearby Coleraine, a 10-minute drive away.
