Cruises on Carlingford Lough are available on a state of the art Vessel operating out of Warrenpoint Co. Down and Omeath Co. Louth.

The ferry will be out of the water for Winer and so will operate during May, June, July & August only.

Picturesque cruises viewing the Mourne Mountains, Carlingford Mountains, Cooley Mountains and the Castles on the Lough. Information hand out with details of the Lough and its Medieval history. A very relaxing cruise on Carlingford Lough. Bring the camera and enjoy.

Also a daily passenger Ferry from Warrenpoint to Omeath operates daily from 12noon to 6pm June to September. Bikes, Pets & Carriage Accepted.

The state of the art vessel "MV Seascapes" is licensed by the Department of Marine.

Vessel can accommodate bus tours up to Warrenpoint, Omeath or Carlingford or private groups.

Passengers can be collected from either Carlingford, Omeath Co. Louth or Warrenpoint Co. Down

Location / Directions

From Newry Co. Down.: Drive six miles down the dual carriage to the picturesque Maritime town of Warrenpoint.
When you arrive in the town center, take the second right at Warrenpoint square and drive round to the beach. The vessel boarding facilitiy is beside the breakwater opposite the old former Osborne Hotel.

From Belfast: Drive to Newry City. Drive through the city and take the dual carriageway to the picturesque maritime town of Warrenpoint, 6km from Newry. Boarding for passengers is opposite the old Osborne Hotel

From Dublin: Drive direct from Dublin to Newry and take the Clough turn off for Newry. Drive down to the bottom the Dublin Rd, then turn right at the bottom of the Dublin Rd. to Omeath Co Louth (signposted). Vessel leaves from the quay in the picturesque of village of Omeath.
