Castlerock Golf Club on the North Coast embodies all the essential charms of links golf. The Championship Mussenden Links is a 6700 yard par 73 and its fine points include a pure seaside routing, firm fast greens, and an intimacy with the landscape surrounding it.
The 9 hole Bann course is set even closer to the sea and has widened the appeal of the Club. David Jones has described the par five fifth as “one of the most scenic holes in Irish golf”.
This magnificant 27 hole layout should be included in every golf itinerary, loosening up with 9 holes on the Bann course , followed by lunch in the comfortable Clubhouse, and then with your swing in order, the challenge of the Championship course in the afternoon.
