Causeway Coast

DETI and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board have commissioned a Tourism Masterplan in order to spread the benefits of visits attracted by the Giant's Causeway to a wider geographic area.

The Masterplan covers the Ballymena, Ballymoney, Carrickfergus, Coleraine, Larne, Limavady, Moyle and Newtownabbey district council areas.

The Masterplan was launched on 7 April 2004. It covers the period 2004-2013 and contains 11 recommendations and 95 actions. The Department welcomes the views of the public on the Masterplan and its development. Contact details can be found at the back of the document.
