Clough Haven is a lovely detached bungalow on the edge of Clough village and was originally used as a cookhouse for the American Army during World War 2. With off-road parking for up to 5 cars and a secure, south-facing, private garden, it offers a great place for children to play or for adults to have friends around for barbeques.
There are 4 steps to the entrance and from the rear it offers views of the Mourne Mountains and Slieve Croob. This property is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, especially as it is less than one hour's drive from Belfast, Newry and Lisburn. A private car is best but it also offers good bus links, too, with the stop only being a few minutes walk away.
A tuned piano is available for guests to use. Why not bring your other instruments along and enjoy times of musical practice, rehearsals or just an evening sing-along around an open fire.
Local attractions (with 10 miles) include castles, cathedral, train rides, Seaforde Tropical Butterfly House, cinema, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, golf, horse riding, fishing, outdoor pursuits, Murlough Nature Reserve, Tyrella Beach, Castlewellan Peace Maze, forest walks, and, of course, the beautiful Mourne area. Also, take time to explore the varied shops and restaurants in each of the local towns and villages.
