The island town of Enniskillen is ideally placed at the southern tip of Lower Lough Erne and has great fishing rights on its doorstep where the River Erne flows through the town. This part of the river produced Bream, and Roach. To the west of Enniskillen, Lough Macnean, Upper and Lower is a rich fishery with great stocks pf Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Perch, and Pike. This area is the venue for big competitions in May.
