Coast of Down Golf Tournament

21 April - 26 April
Ardglass Golf Course with its championship standard greens is always in excellent condition. The Course begins with no less then six spectacular holes laid out atop the cliffs directly over-looking the sea - raw, rocky and dramatic. All the holes have stunning views and the golfer can gaze across the sea from every green and every tee-box.

Kirkistown Castle is widely regarded as one of the best Par 69 courses you are ever likely to encounter. Being situated at the seaside means that wind is usually a significant feature in your round, but this means that every day is a new challenge – one of the reasons why we all love the game so much. Kirkistown Castle will certainly not let you down in this respect. The Par of 69 belies a number of long and strong Par 4s and it is these holes that make the course the fine test of golf that it is. The bunkering on the course was designed by the legendary James Braid. You will have had the opportunity to try out every club in your bag by the time you reach the 18th green. A particularly dry 18 links course having the distinct advantage in inclement weather of being open for play when many other courses are closed.

Royal County Down - Nestling under the magnificent Mourne mountains lies the world famous Royal County Down Golf Club, currently ranked No.1 course in Ireland and scene of many great championships. This Championship links, which is also rated in the Top 10 courses in the world, will be the fitting venue for the final and deciding round of our tournament in 2014.

Royal County Down has hosted many major championships including the Curtis Cup, the Home Internationals and more recently the British Senior Open, British Amateur Championship, The British Ladies Amateur Championship and the 2007 Walker Cup. The Championship course is complemented by the shorter but nevertheless just as testing Annesley Links which will be the venue for the plate competition for those players who do not make the cut to the Championship course.
