Coasteering and Bouldering

Coasteering & Bouldering

Coasteering allows you to experience body-surfing waves, scrambling up waterfalls and cliffs and flinging yourself into deep water from heights of up to 20ft!  Coasteering and bouldering are two action packed activities. They involve walking, scrambling, jumping, swimming and sometimes crawling, around the coast in coasteering, or for bouldering while ascending a river.  Experienced guides use ropes to help you up or around the trickier parts of the route. A wetsuit ensures that you stay warm at any time of the year, other equipment includes a helmet and a buoyancy aid. If you are a beginner, you can start off on easy climbs and jumps and build up to the bigger ones once you gain confidence.

How to get started
Coasteering is a high-risk activity, therefore it is essential to begin with an experienced guide. Activity operators provide the essential equipment; you only need a swimming costume and a towel.

Is it easy?
All you need for this activity is a sense of adventure and a basic level of fitness.

Is it expensive?
Activity providers will provide essential gear including a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet.
