Competitions

The European Heritage Open Days Competitions have now closed.
Thanks to all those who participated in making it another successful European Heritage Weekend in Northern Ireland!!

Alongside European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) itself the Northern Ireland Environment Agency also organises heritage themed photography and art competitions.

Heritage Exposed Photo Competition

Teddys Day Out Photo Competition

Childrens Art Competition

Be inspired by the historic buildings and monuments you see during EHOD. Do more than just record your visit to a favourite building, capture its essence and enter your best photographs in this year’s 'Heritage Exposed' competition.

Open to all ages, the winner will take home an IPad!

This special photographic competition is open to all ages. Why not take one of your cuddly friends to an iconic building or monument and send us a photo of your teddy enjoying their visit.

A special prize will be awarded to the best image.

If you’re aged between 5 and14 send us your original artwork inspired by your favourite building.  It could be one you visited during European Heritage Open Days weekend or one close to where you live.

Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third in each age group.

Please read the terms and conditions for these competitions.
The closing date for all competition entries is 12 October 2012.
The winners will be invited to the EHOD Thank You event in November to receive their prizes.
For further information please call (028) 9054 3022 or email ehd@doeni.gov.uk.
