Public roads: On Public Road

Getting to the start: The route can be started from a number of convenient locations. Our recommended start is Eglinton Village about 2 miles from Derry City Airport. There is free parking in the village and a supermarket to purchase supplies.

Traffic: This route is predominantly on small minor roads. There are a few stretches of the route where there is more traffic, such as access routes for local people to small towns. Such roads include Six Mile near Draperstown and the Five Mile Straight at Glenshane.
