Delamont Country Park

Near the stunning Strangford Lough, known worldwide for its wildlife, the site is surrounded by the natural beauty of Delamont Country park.

The park offers free entry to campers, includes the “biggest and bestest” adventure playground and is home to Ireland’s longest minature railway, mature woodlands and a heronry. You can see more feathered friends at nearby Strangford Lough, a birdwatcher’s paradise that is also one of Europe’s most important marine sites. Near the lough shore, the Strangford Stone – Ireland’s tallest standing stone was erected to celebrate the millennium. Non members welcome.
