Holiday with Pets in Northern Ireland

Dogs Welcome Scheme and dog-friendly properties

The Dogs Welcome Scheme helps recognise the special efforts made by accommodation owners to provide for visitors with pets and to help them choose special accommodation.

Properties in the scheme must offer a number of dog-friendly facilities plus information useful for dog owners staying in the area.  This includes feeding/water bowls, details of local walks suitable for dogs, directions to nearby vets and pet shops, and towels available for pet use.  Full details of the criteria for the scheme can be seen here.
