Donnelly’s Bakery was established over thirty five years ago and is now in being run by the second generation of bakers. As one of the few remaining home bakeries that still bake in house every day, we pride ourselves in the use of only the healthiest ingredients.
Though we produce an extensive range of produce including that of ethnic/ European origin (crossiants, Ciabatta bread) the core of our products are traditional Irish in nature with a Scottish influence such as Fadge (potato bread), Bannocks (oven soda) and slims (griddle teascones) along with the new low GI multi seed loaves and Donnelly’s unique “Dalriada Loaf” (no yeast, no sugar, no flour) for the health conscious.
Our products are all hand made by our own master bakers with an emphasis on using local ingredients.
Upstairs from the bakery shop you can enjoy fresh home made soup and lunch specials served with a smile.
Winning the award from the "Menu of Ulster" and HDCA "Best Breakfast Award" was recognition of the care we put into the food we serve.
