A somewhat remote and very attractive cottage found at the woodland entrance to Castle Ward. Built in the 1870's for Lord Bangor, this charming stone cottage is located on the edge of Castle Ward Demesne. The cottage enjoys views of the forest and is close to several excellent walking trails.

Location / Directions

Take the A25 from Downpatrick towards Strangford. About 5 and a half miles turn left at sign for Audleys Castle. Take first road on the right (about 300 yards from Main Road). The cottage is at the end of this road behind the wrought iron gates.
