Driftwood Cottage

Driftwood Cottage, which sleeps 5, is a beautifully restored, quaint, old fisherman's cottage on the outskirts of Portavogie village. It is situated right on the edge of a beautiful sandy beach, with views across the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man and Scotland. It is within easy walking distance of the harbour, shops, petrol station, children's play areas and the renowned Quays restaurant and bar. Nearby attractions include Kirkistown Golf Club, Exploris Aquarium Portaferry, Hoops Antiques Arcade, The Priory and Healing Gardens, Greyabbey , Mountstewart House and Gardens and the National Trust village of Kearney.

Accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms and 1 single (with additional stowaway bed), bathroom, kitchen with washing machine and microwave, dining/family room and sitting room with TV, DVD player and open fire. There is a small enclosed back yard suitable for BBQs – garden furniture and BBQ provided and a large grassed area to the front leading onto a beautiful sandy beach. No smoking is permitted in the house and pets may be considered by prior arrangement.

All charges are per week and include towels, bed linen,electricity and heating.
