Experience Ards - Donaghadee Living History Walking Tour

21 August
Explore the history of harbour town Donaghadee with a little help from some characters from days of old who lived in and visited the town over many centuries. Learn about the influence the Montgomery family had in the establishment of Donaghadee Harbour. Visit Grace Neill's, reputedly the oldest pub in Ireland, and hear stories from some rather dated patrons who used to frequent the premises. Find out how the crew of the Sir Samuel Kelly RNLI rescued 31 people from the ill-fated Princess Victoria in 1953. You never know what other folk you might meet along your way!
