With the success of TV series’ such as ‘The Fall’ and ‘Game of Thrones’, the world is standing up and taking notice of our amazing natural and man-made landscape.  From our picturesque coastlines to our mountains and glens, Northern Ireland has everything a TV or film producer needs!  Have a look at our film events - brand new for this year’s EHOD.

Our picturesque mountains and glens also produce some of the finest ingredients in the world.  Our local produce has made an impact on the food we have grown up eating and the food our visitors experience: locally reared salmon, brewed beers, and locally grown and baked oats and bread to name but a few!  Get your taste buds ready and visit our food events which are also brand new to this year’s programme of events!

Hilden Brewery is Ireland's oldest independent brewery, established in 1981, and is housed in the converted stables of the Georgian Hilden House.

Sloane 350 Pre-Chocolate Festival Tour.  Local historian Clive Scoular will be in costume as Hans Sloane and will guide visitors around Killyleagh visiting relevant heritage sites en-route.
