The Flowerfield Arts Centre is a venue for arts and crafts courses, exhibitions, lectures and events. Courses for adults and children range from subjects such as pottery, painting, language classes and drama.
There are 2 galleries, one doubling as a performance area / lecture theatre. There is a park with a children's play area.
The Annual Arts Festival is held in October.
A series of free talks take place in the centre 2 - 3 evenings a week in July and August.
