Closing the Saint Patrick festival with a walk following the footstep to his burial place in Downpatrick.

Travel through time at the Quoile and listen to the myths and legends of a once busy shipping lane. Through the centuries many have visited this place including Saint Patrick himself. Follow a journey made by log boats of the first settlers to the longboats of Viking raiders and the steamships of yesteryear. Owned by the Southwells listen to the family tale from lordship to ruin.

Since the 1700s man has made is mark on Lecale's northern gateway. These changes are brought to life with photographs of times gone by. In addition to this the area is also a bonifide Game of Thrones™ location!

- The walk is 3.5 miles and circular, returning to the start point.
- The route includes level terrain, largely consisting of a gravel path.
- The tour lasts 2 hours.
