GASP - Surfin' Dirt is the one and only Mountain Boarding centre in Ireland. We offer a range of unique activities such as 4X mountain biking, segway experience, slacklining, and disc golf.

Located in the spectacular surroundings of the Mourne Mountains, GASP Surfin' Dirt mountain board centre provides an exciting venue for mountain boarders and bikers of all skills and ages.
Beginners have the opportunity to learn and develop skills on the nursery slopes, while more advanced riders will enjoy the long carving runs, jumps and features on the main hill.
We have boards, bikes and safety gear for hire and sale.
Get board basic training from AIMBA qualified instructors, and learn essential skills from experienced mountain bikers.

Pricing for 2012.

2 hour mountain board level 1 introduction session, £17.50
(includes board, gear and training)

2 hour level 2 session, £20.00

Season membership, £40.00
Members are typically board or bike owners, and a member is entitled to use track for the year (during opening times) without any further payment.

Other fees apply for equipment hire and uplifts.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult who must sign a consent and waiver form.

Location / Directions

From Newcastle: To Bryansford and head towards Hilltown, take 2nd road on right, signposted for Kilcoo.

From Belfast: Leave the city on the A24 towards Carryduff, Ballynahinch and Newcastle. At Clough turn right onto the A25 towards Castlewellan. In the town of Castlewellan turn left at the roundabout onto the A50 for Newcastle. 2 miles along, turn right onto the B180, towards Bryansford and Hilltown. Once through the village of Bryansford, take the second road to the right, which is signposted for Kilcoo. The Surfin’ Dirt track is 200 yards along on the right.

From Dublin: Travel north to Newry via motorway.
Leave the Newry taking the B8 for Hilltown and Newcastle. Travelling through Mayobridge and Hilltown, continue until the end of the B8. Turn right at the T-junction towards Kilcoo. In Kilcoo, you will see a fork in the road to the right, just past the church on the left, this fork is the Tullyree Road, which you should follow to the end. As you reach the forest at the end of the road, you will see the Surfin’ Dirt track on the left.
