This Game of Thrones boat tour located just 40 minutes from Belfast is a must for all Game of Thrones fans – enjoy stunning views from the water of the various ancient Westeros Castles and other shoreline locations used by HBO in the filming of the show, including:
• Robb’s Camp
• Winterfell Castle
• The Twins
• Brienne of Tarth paddles canoe back to Kings Landing with Jamie Lannister captive
The boat is fitted with a large ‘Stark Flag’ which flaps in the wind as we cross the mouth of Strangford Lough AKA ‘The Narrow Sea’. These waters are where Brienne of Tarth brought Jamie Lannister ashore in a canoe on her way to Kings Landing and fittingly also where St. Patrick first came ashore to Ireland in a boat back in the 5th Century (the Vikings gave the lough the Norse name ‘Strangfyorthe’, meaning place of strong tidal currents or strong fjord).
We will also visit the ‘Bay of Seals’ during the Game of Thrones boat tour.
Don’t forget your camera!
The Game of Thrones tour boat can be ‘private chartered’ on a date of your choice. The tour lasts approx. 1hr 30mins.
