Glenshesk Farmhouse

This cosy traditional Irish farmhouse has been recently upgraded to provide a beautiful holiday home tucked away in Glenshesk, one of the nine Glens of Antrim and just 4 miles away from the lovely seaside town of Ballycastle. A truly wonderful and peaceful sanctuary to revive the soul!

A short drive away from Glenshesk, you find such wonders as the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Whitepark Bay, the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. The coastal road to Torr Head, Cushenden and Cushendall is stunning. Rathlin Island and the famous Bushmills Irish Whisky Distillery are also great places to visit. The Causeway coast is rich with natural beauty. The National Trust has protected many miles of beautiful walks along beaches that join cliff tops to headlands from where you can watch the great tides that sweep in and out of the Irish Sea from the North Atlantic. Some of Ireland's most famous golf clubs such as The Royal Portrush are only a few miles. Good base for walking, cycling, coastal walks, bird watching, golf, tennis, fishing.

First Floor:
Two double bedrooms with double beds.
Third bedroom with single bed and pull out bed (ideal for children).
Gorgeous newly fitted bathroom with double ended bath overlooking Knocklayde mountain and surrounding countryside, large glass shower cubicle with tumbled stone tiles and power shower.

Well-behaved dogs welcome, however, the house sits in open countryside where livestock graze.
Property is no smoking.
Shops, pubs with regular traditional Irish music and restaurants can be found in Ballycastle town.
