We are pleased to offer a new luxury self-catering apartment available for rent at Gobbins Lodge, one of Northern Ireland's most popular Relaxation Spas set in 14 acres of unspoilt countryside overlooking the sea. The views are breathtaking and while gazing out over the panoramic skyline from the Co. Down coast, to the Copeland Islands, the Scottish coast and on to the Mull of Kintyre, you can feel the stress and strain simply drift away with the sea breeze.

Two bedrooms with en-suite facilities and sea views (one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds) are complemented by a superb lounge/dining room/fully fitted kitchen, with all the high quality appliances you will require. There is also a well stocked library. You may wish to avail of our treatment room for complementary therapies during your stay; also a sauna and steam room and the use of a private garden with a hot tub overlooking the sea. A gym is on site for your more energetic moments and there is a walk down to our private pebble beach.

Gobbins Loft is in an excellent location for commuters from all over Northern Ireland, also from the mainland and further afield being just 30 mins drive from Belfast, 15 mins from Larne and about 45 mins from Belfast International Airport (and 2 miles from the local railway station.) The beauties of the County Antrim coastline and the Glens of Antrim are all within easy reach, together with many places of local and historical interest such as Carrickfergus Castle. This is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which affords many pleasant walks locally where a variety of birds and other wildlife add appeal to an already attractive region with local sandy beaches. The Gobbins Cliffs area of Islandmagee, Co. Antrim, has also been declared an Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) because of their colonies of breeding seabirds, unusual geological features and wide range of maritime plant communities.

The most important species breeding at the Gobbins are Kittiwake and Razerbill, but there are large numbers of Common Guillemots and the site holds the only Puffins breeding on the Northern Ireland mainland. Nearby facilities include Riding Stables, Golf, Fishing, Diving, Leisure Centres, Country parks and picnic areas so that you can combine a time of sheer relaxation with all the activity breaks you or your family may require.

Evening meals can be arranged at Gobbins Lodge, whose reputation for delicious and wholesome cuisine is well known, and/or picnic baskets for your outings to picturesque beauty spots can be provided.
