The Grand Opera House presents a programme of diverse theatrical performances to satisfy many tastes: musicals, opera, ballet, comedy, concerts and pantomime are regular favourites. Designed by leading theatre architect, Frank Matcham, and opened in 1895, the lavish interior combines the skills of Victorian architects, painters and craftsmen. Wheelchair access.
