A one and a half acre garden on a hillside site.
A fascinating city garden in the suburbs of Derry. It comprises a Japanese garden, and Italian garden, and a formal garden in front of late Georgian house. The garden is being extended to include a vegetable garden and some new exotic plantings.
The garden is open to visitors from 1 May to end of September, and is probably at best in July/August.
Unique/rare flora: The garden contains many unusual specimens from around the world.
This garden has limited opening as part of the National Trust Ulster Gardens Scheme, please phone for an appointment before visiting. You can view details of the Ulster Garden Scheme at www.ulstergardensscheme.org.uk.
