The property overlooks a large walled garden which contains a raised patio area and a large lawn for games.
The quaint little harbour village of Strangford has a very relaxed atmosphere and is a great base from which to explore the varied landscapes of County Down or nip across in the car ferry to visit the Ards Peninsula. County Down has several magnificent National Trust properties such as Rowallane and Castle Ward as well as the stunning coastal and mountain scenery of Newcastle and the Mourne Mountains.
Strangford Lough is a National Nature Reserve and as well as its unique wildlife and scenery there are plenty of water sports and boat trips on offer.
The area is also packed with interesting historical artefacts such as the prehistoric Lisnoe stone circle near Downpatrick or St Patrick's grave beside Down Cathedral.
