Helen’s Tower, perched above the rolling hills of County Down, is an enchanting three storey, stone tower nestled deep in the woods of the Clandeboye Estate. Standing on top of the world with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, one can see as far as distant Scottish shores from the top of Helen’s Tower. Helen’s Tower sleeps two (double bed) and is perfect for that romantic getaway!
There is a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, crockery, cutlery, glasses, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Please note there is no television or WiFi. All bed linen and towels are provided. A travel cot is available for small children but guests need to provide their own linen. There is electric heating and an open fire.
In 2015 Helen's Tower were awarded a Bronze Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
Premises listed within this site are inspected every four years to ensure compliance with the relevant tourism legislation.
Properties who are star graded are assessed on an annual basis.

Take the B170 Ballysallagh Road towards Newtownards. Take the first left onto Crawfordsburn Road. Approximately 0.7 mile on the left is a cream Gatelodge This is the entrance to the estate and the House Manager will meet you here.
