Kilkeel And Whitewater Rivers

These 2 rivers while containing some brown trout are primarily sea trout fisheries with the occasional salmon. The best of the fishing is in September & October but a spate is necessary. The Whitewater is a medium sized (5-20m) river while the Kilkeel falls largely into the small sized (3-5m) category and while the fly can be fished on both all legal methods are allowed. There is a disabled pool on the Whitewater although at present there is no ghillie service available. There are six day tickets in total for both rivers at £15/rod/day and there is no Sunday fishing.
