Killyleagh

Killyleagh is a large village in County Down dominated by Killyleagh Castle, a Loire-style chateau which claims to be the oldest inhabited castle in Ireland. The Castle has been the home of the Hamilton family since the 17th century Plantation of Ulster and the turrets can be hired for a self catering holiday experience.

Delamont Country Park is located outside Killyleagh on the road to Downpatrick on the stunning Strangford Lough.
