Late Night Art in Belfast Galleries

A new initiative to encourage visitors to experience Belfast’s rich and diverse cultural life is the art gallery scheme whereby many galleries in Belfast will remain open until 9pm on the first Thursday of each month. Many exhibitions, artist talks and promotions are planned during these open evenings and many of Belfast’s most prestigious art centres are participating.

Late Night Art is part of Belfast City Council’s Cultural Tourism Initiative which seeks to make specific areas of culture more accessible to visitors. The Gerard Dillon Gallery, Belfast Exposed and the Golden Thread Gallery are just some of those taking part and there is an eclectic selection of paintings, sculpture and photography available to view.
