Laurel Villa Townhouse is a one hundred and twenty year old Victorian Townhouse, tastefully decorated and replete with period furniture and collectables. It combines the charm and ambience of an earlier age with the comfort and amenities of today. It is old-fashioned in the best sense of the word and with just five bedrooms it has that warmness often lacking in larger, more impersonal establishments.

Heritage/cultural tours are available on request, taken by the owner who is a professional guide. One of his special interests is Seamus Heaney. Another service you’ll find here is family history research, using sources from our Reading Room and the extensive local knowledge of the owners, Gerardine and Eugene Kielt.
